Description
Why Choose Professional Beginner Skateboard Lessons?
Skateboarding is a discipline of repetition and muscle memory. Our beginner skateboard lessons are led by “D’Beau” Darin Black a multi-certified professional instructor (USA Skateboarding, SBSX, SPAI, Skate IDSA) who ensures that every student masters the 20-point foundational matrix. This isn’t just a clinic; it is a technical laboratory where we build the “Core Mechanics” required for a lifetime of skating.
The Level 1 Technical Curriculum
During this three-month seasonal block, students work through a proprietary syllabus that includes:
-
Stance & Power Pushing: Identifying natural vs. goofy and mastering the mechanics of the push.
-
Safety Protocols: Learning how to fall and bail safely using “Knee Slides” and “Run-offs.”
-
Directional Control: Backside and Frontside carving combined with precision Tic-Tacs.
-
The Pivot Markers: Executing 90°, 180°, and 360° kickturns with total stability.
The Deckadence Small-Group Advantage
We limit our beginner skateboard lessons to a strict 6-student cap. This ensures a 1:6 ratio, allowing for personalized coaching that adapts to each skater’s unique pace. All professional gear and safety equipment is provided for use during every session.
The 3-Month Accelerator Commitment
-
Enrollment: 12-week seasonal blocks (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).
-
Billing: $100/month for 3 months (Processed via SUMO automated billing).
-
Policy: Because our Accelerator groups are strictly limited to 6 students, your registration holds a spot that cannot be filled by others. Consistent attendance is vital for hitting the graduation metrics required to move to Level 2.
